Specialty recycling software provider ScrapRight has launched an in-house payment processing system designed in cooperation with Propelr of Wayne, Pennsylvania.

The new setup will "offer streamlined payment acceptance within the ScrapRight software you already know and love” ScrapRight writes to its customers in a blog post.

According to Chambersburg, Pennsylvania-based ScrapRight, scrap buyers are experiencing high processing fees, unreliable reporting and poor customer service. “These issues take you away from focusing on your core business," the company says.

With the new ScrapRight + Propelr product offering, scrap shippers will have access to payment acceptance methods that the companies say accommodate all the ways customers wish to pay while benefiting your bottom line.

According to ScrapRight, Propelr “aggressively" manages interchange costs to ensure ScrapRight users receive the lowest possible rate for every transaction. The recycling software firm also credits Propelr for an ability to generate “easy-to-digest, transparent statements” and “real-time reporting.”

Payments through ScrapRight and Propelr can be made via credit card, debit card, automated clearing house and contactless payments. Funds are deposited into a bank account the next business day.

Propelr also offers payment card industry compliance assistance "to ensure becoming compliant is simple and quick.”

Earlier this month, ScrapRight also announced a new technology option for over-the-scale customers who sell material to processing facilities.
