Frank and Jerry Antonacci of USA Hauling and Recycling, a waste management company based in Enfield, Conn., recently purchased and installed a Bollegraaf OCC (old corrugated containers) sorting system from Stamford, Conn.-based distributor Van Dyk Recycling Solutions, with a TITECH autosort 4. The double deck OCC screen cleans the OCC while the TITECH shoots out the considerable amount of sorted office paper (SOP) found mixed in with the OCC. In this set up, three grades of paper are made: clean OCC, SOP and mixed paper.
Frank Antonacci, vice president of USA Recycling, says, “To say that we are happy with the system is an understatement.”
USA Hauling & Recycling is part of a team of subsidiaries and affiliates that services more than 15,000 residential customers and more than 5,000 commercial, industrial and municipal customers across the region.
Van Dyk Recycling Solutions is the exclusive distributor of Bollegraaf, Lubo and TITECH machinery in North America, with more than 2,400 plants installed in North America.
