Sunnking, an electronics recycler based in Brockport, New York, has announced it has upgraded its R2 certification and achieved R2v3 certification. The company says it implemented changes to reduce risk and adverse outcomes, ensuring quality and effectiveness in its operation.
According to a news release from Sunnking, the upgraded certification ensures that the company has a more robust system with confident results that recovered materials will be responsibly processed.
“I’m incredibly pleased to continue our certification to the latest R2 standard, R2v3. There are some significant changes to the latest version of the standard, changes that required a lot of additional thought and resources,” Sunnking President Adam Shine says. “In my view, the R2v3 standard continues to make us look at our operation and think about doing things in a different and better manner. Safety has always been paramount to what we do, and this only further strengthens our resolve to operate the right way. It goes without saying but without our incredible staff, none of this would be possible. Our management team has done an excellent job.”
