Oshkosh, Wisconsin-based Sadoff E-Recycling & Data Destruction has announced it has achieved certification to the R2 (Responsible Recycling Practices) Standard for electronics recyclers at its electronics processing facilities in Oshkosh and in La Vista, Nebraska.
In addition to Sadoff E-Recycling & Data Destruction’s Wisconsin-based recycling centers, the company has facilities in Lincoln, Omaha and La Vista, Nebraska.
The R2 standard provides a common sense set of processes, safety measures and documentation requirements for businesses that repair and recycle used electronics.
“We consider ourselves in an elite class that has proven our security, processes, environmental commitment and safety standards allowing us to operate as an internationally recognized recycling solution for businesses located throughout the Midwest and beyond,” says Jason Lasky, executive vice president of Sadoff E-Recycling & Data Destruction. “We look forward to enhancing the accessibility of certified and secure recycling throughout our region.”
Sadoff E-Recycling & Data Destruction is a subsidiary of Sadoff Iron & Metal Co., headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Sadoff Iron & Metal is a third-generation family-owned business that operates eight locations between Nebraska and Wisconsin. Sadoff employs more than 250 people.
