EnviroGLAS Changes Name to Glass Recycled

Name change reflects the company’s decision to highlight its new product line that is tailored to the building products industry.

EnviroGLAS, a glass recycling company based in Plano, Texas, has changed its name to Glass Recycled.

According to the company the name change is part of its decision to expand its scope and service to the commercial and residential building products industry. Glass Recycled says its product line features a patented process for recycling and transforming glass and porcelain into applications for floors, walls, recycled glass countertops and specialty décor items.

Tim Whaley, company founder, says, “The growth of major commercial applications for our environmentally friendly products has resulted in our expansion and development of four distinct brand offerings. We felt our new name and corporate identity of Glass Recycled more accurately reflects our expanded scope.”

With the name change, the company also has introduced four brands under its Glass Recycled umbrella:

  • GlassSLAB, a product geared toward kitchen countertops, bathrooms and other countertop applications in a variety of sizes;
  • GlassPLANK, designed for flooring and wall panel products that can be installed with seams as little as 1/64 inches and available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses;
  • GlassDECOR, which is designed for recycled glass table tops, glass panels, ceiling tiles and other imaginable applications; and
  • GlassSCAPE, a recycled glass landscaping material, which is loose, bagged recycled glass and porcelain aggregate product that can be used as a permanent and alternative to groundcover, mulch or used in fountain and aquariums.
