DJJ Makes Leadership Changes at Trademark Metals

David J. Joseph Company (DJJ), Cincinnati, has announced leadership changes at its Tampa, Fla.-based Trademark Metals Recycling (TMR) unit. Tim Brose, TMR president, will retire by the end of June 2013. Mark Schaefer, DJJ’s executive vice president of recycling operations, will assume the leadership position for TMR on a temporary basis.

DJJ also announced the departure of three other senior executives of TMR: Michael Walbridge, vice president-finance; Doug Graham, vice president-commercial; and Mitch Damp, director-nonferrous. All three left the company at the end of May, 2013.

According to a published report, the senior management changes are “consistent with DJJ’s ongoing succession planning and performance improvement processes.”

Greg Oelrich, currently TMR’s vice president of operations, will assume the role of vice president - finance.

Brad Ford, currently international trading manager at DJJ's Switzerland office, has been promoted to vice president - commercial at TMR, assuming all ferrous and nonferrous commercial responsibilities.

Steve Winters, currently vice president - operations for DJJ subsidiaries River Metals Recycling in Kentucky and Metal Recycling Services in North Carolina, will be assisting the TMR operations team on a temporary basis.

TMR operates 26 recycling facilities in Florida and on in Georgia. The company is a wholly owned unit of DJJ, which itself is a subsidiary of steelmaker Nucor Corp., Charlotte, N.C.
