Sadoff Iron and Metal adds to trading team

Greg Moore has 15 years of experience in the scrap metal industry and will focus on ferrous buying and selling.

Sadoff Iron and Metal Co., headquartered in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, has added Greg Moore to the company’s recycled materials trading team. Moore has 15 years of experience in the scrap metal industry, with previous roles as a regional marketing manager with Alter Trading Corp. and national accounts manager with Sims Metals.

As senior executive – trading, Moore’s main focus will be ferrous buying and selling, leveraging his expertise in industrial account management and customer relations, according to the company.

“We are thrilled to add Greg to our team,” CEO Mark Lasky says. “He has an outstanding reputation throughout the industry and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our organization.

“We are also excited to welcome Greg’s wife Christy and son, Michael, to our community."

Moore will be based out of Sadoff’s company headquarters in Fond du Lac, and begins his new role March 18.

Sadoff Iron and Metal, founded by Edward Rudoy in 1947, processes ferrous, nonferrous and electronic scrap at six facilities in Wisconsin and Nebraska and four electronic scrap and data destruction locations (operating under Sadoff E-Recycling and Data Destruction/SunCoast Communications) in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Maryland, and Texas. Sadoff provides scrap metal recycling, processing and national scrap management services to industry, foundries, steel mills and smelters, conducting business in 46 states as well as exporting to Canada, Mexico, India, Taiwan and South Korea.
