DataChambers Introduces Cloud Hosting Service
DataChambers, an information technology and managed services provider headquartered in Winston-Salem, N.C., has introduced a new cloud hosting service that it says will allow companies to replace or extend their existing server networks without making costly capital investments. DataChambers will maintain and operate the progtram, which is available to customers through the Internet.
DataChambers says companies using its new service can use cloud hosting to replace their existing servers, augment their existing computing capabilities or provide redundant processing capacity in the event of an in-house network outage. Customers will have the ability to respond to changing information technology needs without sacrificing performance or paying for excess, unused capacity, the company says.
"We've designed cloud hosting for maximum flexibility so companies can respond quickly to changing business dynamics and budgets," Nicholas Kottyan, CEO of DataChambers says. "They can lower their hardware and maintenance costs, improve scalability and eliminate the headaches that can come with managing their own in-house servers."
To ensure seamless operations, DataChambers says it has added additional high-speed Internet ports to expand network connectivity and new high-availability cloud infrastructure and routers to expand capacity. The company also upgraded existing servers and routers for compliance with IPv6, an emerging Internet protocol.
The service is supported by an on-site power substation and dual power grids, multiple backup generators, state-of-the-art security and surveillance systems and redundant connectivity to virtually every major communications carrier in the country, according to DataChambers. In addition, DataChambers and its team are SAS 70 Type II audited to ensure continuous protection of client systems and data.
