Making gains

Prices for sorted office paper (SOP) across all regions tracked by PPI Pulp & Paper Week for delivery in February increased from the previous month. The largest gains were seen in New York, the Midwest and San Francisco/Los Angeles, which all gained $10 per short ton for open market purchases for delivery in February. The Southeast, Southwest and Pacific Northwest saw more modest gains of $5 per short ton for the same period.
