Royal Document Destruction has announced that it was named to the Inc. 5000. The list, published by Inc. magazine, honors the most entrepreneurial and fastest growing companies in America.
Royal Document Destruction ranked 3,110 on the 2010 Inc. 5000.
The family-owned company, a full-service paper shredding firm, was founded 15 years ago. New Albany, Ohio, residents John and Laura Daly and Dublin, Ohio-based Jason Radtke founded and run the business, which provides on- and off-site destruction services. Royal Document Destruction recently has expanded its services to include secure hard-drive and product destruction.
Despite the ongoing recession, aggregate revenue among the companies on the 2010 Inc. 5000 increased compared with revenue reported for the 2009 list. The companies that ranked on the 2010 list had a median three-year growth rate of 126 percent. Inc. 5000 companies are responsible for creating more than 1.4 million jobs since their founding, according to Inc.
This year’s list measures revenue growth from 2006 to 2009. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 30, 2006. Eligible companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit firms that had at least $2 million in revenue for 2009.
