Chicago-based Container Essentials has announced the opening of its first distribution center, which is in Northern Indiana. According to the company, the new distribution center will allow Container Essentials to offer lower prices on its products and to launch a quick-ship program.
Container Essentials specializes in containers and accessories for commercial recycling, solid waste, document destruction and material handling.
“We are very excited to be opening this facility because it enables us to buy in larger volumes and pass the savings to our customers,” says Steve Phelps, president of Container Essentials.
The distribution center features 48-hour shipping on standard Container Essentials products, the company says.
