Access Information Management, a records and information management (RIM) company headquartered in Pleasanton, Calif., has announced the expansion of its Hawaii operations with the purchase of certain assets of SIH LLC and Recycling Solutions LLC.
With the purchased assets, Access says it has become the largest National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) AAA-certified document destruction and records management service in Hawaii.
The company has been operating in Hawaii since 1981 and was formerly known as FileMinders and ShredEx.
With the expansion, Access has nearly 60 employees in the state and locations in Oahu, Maui and the Big Island.
“The expansion of Access’ Hawaii operations is a win-win for our new and existing clients,” says Rob Alston, president of Access Information Management. “Now, even more clients have access to our comprehensive suite of services, which allows them to focus on their core business while reducing the costs and risks associated with managing company records and information.”
Access provides on- and off-site document destruction services and records management, media vaulting and digital solutions.
