Liebherr delivers 1,000th LTM crane to All Family of Companies

Liebherr’s LTM 1200-5.1 mobile crane measures 236 feet and can be extended with lattice booms.

Newport News, Virginia-based Liebherr celebrated the milestone of delivering the 1,000th LTM 1200-5.1 mobile crane to Cleveland-based All Family of Companies. The All Family of Companies is the largest privately owned crane rental and sales organization in North America, with 36 branches operating under multiple names—All, Central, Dawes, Jeffers and ALT.

According to a news release from Liebherr, safety, product quality and flexibility of the LTM 1200-5.1 were major criteria behind All’s purchasing decision.

Liebherr launched the LTM 1200-5.1 in 2005 and the company reports that it was the mobile crane with the longest telescopic boom in the 5-axle class, and it was also one of the first cranes to feature pneumatic disc brakes. The crane is 236 feet and can be extended with lattice booms. The 430,000-pound crane can reach hook heights of up to 331 feet and radii of up to 263 feet.

All Family of Companies offers rental, sales and parts with a focus on construction, roads and bridges, power generation and facility maintenance.

“We’re honored to be receiving the 1,000th LTM 1200 and pleased to celebrate the moment with Liebherr,” says Michael Liptak, president and CEO of the All Family of Companies. “We’re committed to having the best crane rental fleet in the North American market. To that end, we invest with Liebherr because your engineering excellence matches the excellence we bring to customer job sites. We look for equipment that maximizes road-worthiness, mobility and efficiency.”
