Plastics recycler Nicos Polymers has emerged from bankruptcy protection as of mid-December 2010. The company has sold its assets to a new company formed by its main creditor, Fifth Street Finance Corp. and Fifth Street Mezzanine Partners II L.P. Fifth Street Finance Corp. has taken a 51 percent stake in the company.
Nicos Polymers, Nazareth, Pa., offers post-industrial polymer recycling and product destruction services. The company specializes in polyvinyl chloride recycling.
