Cornerstone Records Management LLC has acquired the assets of Guardian Document Storage, a storage and management firm based in Essex, Md.
“We have been looking at expanding in markets adjacent to our current footprint so we are very excited about entering the Baltimore market through the acquisition of Guardian,” says Steven Sisney, president and CEO of Cornerstone. “We will continue to invest in this market in support of expanding our customer base and providing existing local customers a complete array of records and information services.”
The acquisition is the 10th Cornerstone has completed since June 2008. Guardian will become part of Cornerstone’s Eastern division, based in King of Prussia, Pa.
Cornerstone provides storage and management of hard copy records, plant-based and mobile document destruction services, electronic media vaulting and digital imaging services. The company does business as LA Records Management in the Southern California area, as Cornerstone Records Management in the Denver market and as Nova Records Management in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.
