Apto Solutions, based in Atlanta, has opened a full-service asset recovery facility in Milpitas, Calif., that it says is capable of processing more than 30,000 pieces of technology equipment per month. The facility offers a range of IT asset processing services, including reverse logistics, data sanitization, testing, repair, redeployment, remarketing and recycling.
“We believe our business model, which includes multiple green initiatives, will be closely aligned with the goals and values of the organizations in this area,” says Jeff Jones, Apto Solutions CEO.
James Kilkelly, the company’s president, adds, “With so many technology companies in the immediate vicinity of our facility, this expansion also provides the ability to sell quality, pre-owned, IT products to customers looking to extend their IT budgets.
