Vanguard Renewables has acquired Complete Beverage Destruction (CBD), a beverage waste recycling facility in Dade City, Florida.
The acquisition aims to expand Vanguard Renewables’ presence in the Southeast U.S. and further accelerates the company’s expansion into the state of Florida. The Massachusetts-based company is an operator of organics diversion programs, anaerobic digestion plants and depackaging facilities.
Dedicated to the responsible disposal of unsellable or surplus beverages, CBD provides safe and legal disposal of beer, wine, spirits, sodas, juices, energy drinks and more to manufacturers, distributors and government entities across the Southeast U.S. It processes approximately 200 tons per day of beverage waste through two liquids processing lines.
The facility also offers certified destruction services and chain-of-custody documentation for regulatory compliance.
“CBD has been a trusted partner in our network, and we’ve long admired their operational excellence and customer service,” Vanguard Renewables CEO Mike O'Laughlin says. “We’re excited to bring this facility into our portfolio and expand our ability to serve customers throughout Florida.”
