Single Stream


Lubo USA has developed different screens for the separation of recyclables in a single-stream. The Double-Deck News Screen or the Single Deck News Screen separate the # 8 news automatically out of the incoming single stream. These screens can also separate news from mixed paper automatically. The French Banana screen is a newly developed screen that separates paper from containers at a high through-put rate. The news screen and French Banana can also be combined with each other

Advantages of using starscreen technology:

  • The screen deck spreads the material and pulls it apart.
  • High processing capacity, particularly with difficult materials, such as sticky material.
  • Screens can be simply mounted in series, so that a number of sizes can be screened in a single line.The (patented) cleaning finger keeps the screening deck clean during the screening process.
  • This prevents deviations in the screening dimension and removes the need for stoppages to clean.
  • Thanks to the variable rotating speed, various screening dimensions can be achieved using one star dimension. Therefore, no need to adjust the screening deck between runs.
  • Star screens do not shake or vibrate, so that a lightweight sub-frame suffices.
  • The sloping screening angle saves space.
  • Low noise level.
  • Stars are easily replaced in the Lubo star screen system.
