Vecoplan designed a rotor specifically for processing e-scrap, consisting of hard-faced ribs and a solid steel rotor shaft with flanged stub shafts. The cutter holders are hard faced to withstand the challenges inherent with e-scrap processing. The cutters themselves mount with specifically engineered cutter bolts into a recessed pocket machined especially for e-scrap and are designed to give the longest possible life. Clean-out pockets with replaceable wipers and a precision, through hardened D2, semi-wedge counter-knife make this cutting system ideally suited for e-scrap processing.
