Fiber Processing

Paper mills are demanding a cleaner feedstock free of contaminants, such as dirt, grit, cartridges, etc. The most effective and economical method to improve fiber quality is through mechanical separation and screening. Throughput capacities are also much higher when screening devices are utilized.

BHS designs and manufactures systems that incorporate custom tailored screening units to meet specific processing requirements. Screens are available for mechanically separating cardboard from mixed paper (OCC Separator®), contaminants from newsprint (Hi-Grader®), and various trash/contaminants from mixed residential paper (Paper Screen). More than (300) fiber systems and screens are operating successfully throughout four continents.
