Columbia Steel produces grapple links cast out of high strength alloy steel. Cast grapple links are quickly proving to be a better solution than common fabricated grapple links. The cast links, which are manufactured as one piece, are substantially stronger and less likely to fail during use than standard fabricated links. Columbia Steel's advanced alloys and improved design mean improved performance. Our product engineers work with customers to design our grapple links. Customers’ original fabricated parts were overstressed and often saw premature breakage. Our grapple links are cast out of a high strength martensitic steel alloy developed by Columbia Steel, providing a combination of high strength and toughness.
