“Give the costs of labor in this economic climate, it is important to decrease the amount of time spent on maintenance and redirect it to productive tasks,” says Meg Grant, sales and service manager. “We find it important to develop cost-saving equipment to reduce labor as well as material expenses. The Sump Level Regulator will do so by activating the customer’s water supply or fluid pump to maintain the correct fluid operating level in each machine tool sump or central tank, thereby limiting time other wise spent by the operator,” Grant adds.
The SLR is designed to be used for all fluid types and features heavy-duty mechanical components with only two moving parts and a simple, two-step installation process. The SLR also can create an automated fluid on demand system when coupled with the Zebra Fill-Station.
