Yanmar Construction Equipment Co.,
The ViO55-5B features a hydraulic quick coupler and a new angle blade option. The angled blade assists when backfilling in trenching operations, the blade extensions keep the machine further away from the delicate edge of the excavation, which can help reduce the risk of the trench side caving in.
The machine also features ViO crawler technology by Advanced Stability (VICTAS). The VIPPS (ViO progressive three-pump system) increases power and speed along with improved fuel economy, the company says.
The machine is powered by a Yanmar 39.5-horsepower TNV series C&S (Clean and Silent) diesel engine. The ViO55-5B excavator is covered by a 3-year/3,000-hour warranty.
