Yale offers Spanish language forklift training

OSHA-compliant safety training DVD is available in Spanish.

Yale Materials Handling Corp., Greenville, North Carolina, has released a Spanish version of its lift truck operator training DVD program, “Yale Handle with Care.” The OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration)-compliant lift truck safety training features Yale Class I-V lift trucks and can be purchased through Yale’s dealer network.

“At Yale, we focus on people and the products they need to improve operational efficiency,” says Jay Costello, Yale’s director of training. “The Spanish version of our ‘Handle with Care’ training program enables Spanish-speaking operators to have the necessary training to operate efficiently and safely. The program also demonstrates our dedication to providing service that is truly built around our customers and their needs.”

Yale says the course was developed to meet U.S. OSHA regulations and to be understood by most Spanish speakers. The DVD set “contains all the components necessary to conduct the classroom portion of an OSHA-compliant operator training program in Spanish, including instructor guides, class-specific tests, wallet cards and course completion certificates,” says the company.

Buyers can purchase either a two-DVD Spanish-only format or a four-DVD English and Spanish combination kit.
