World Resources Co., which specializes in metal recycling, has opened a new branch in southern Taiwan the first week of November. The company has a presence in more than 30 countries. It is headquartered in Virginia.
WRC, which targets the electroplating industry, has offices and facilities throughout the world, although this is its first office in Taiwan. The company purchases metal-bearing industrial residue as a raw material to produce metal concentrates.
According to press reports the new facility will purchase the industrial sludge from local electronic plants, electroplating plants and waste water plants, and make ingots for use by metal producers in America.
