Delivered in partnership by WRAP on behalf of Advantage West Midlands (AWM), the WRAP AWM program will offer fully funded business development services and small-scale capital grants of up to £187,000 to companies investing in new or expanded waste processing capacity. Businesses will also be able to apply for one of several large scale capital grants, worth up to 30 percent of a project’s capital costs.
The program, which will be run by WRAP from its first-ever regional satellite office at Longbridge Technology Park, will overcome barriers in infrastructure faced by businesses seeking to recycle by increasing waste material collections, developing recycling infrastructure and working with Business Link West Midlands, NISP, Envirowise and other regional partners to increase use of recycled materials.
Businesses can access the new support by contacting Julia Turner, WRAP’s AWM Programme manager, on 0121 222 5446.
