Waste Management, Inc. announced financial results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2004. Revenues for the quarter were $3.14 billion as compared with $2.93 billion in the year ago period, a 7 percent increase. Net income for the quarter was $216 million, compared with net income of $176 million for the same time last year, an increase of 23 percent.
For the first six month WMI reported operating revenues of $6.03 billion, compared with $5.67 billion for the comparable period last year.
