Waste Management's Recycle America Asset Recovery Group subsidiary has been approved by New Jersey’s Department of Environmental Protection to operate a certified recycling depot for computers and electronics at its Long Branch, N.J., nonferrous metals recycling facility.
The Long Branch site, will offer drop-off services for a fee.
Materials collected at the Long Branch yard will be shipped to a processing facility operated by Recycle America ARG in Kernersville, N.C. From there Recycle America will disassemble the electronics and transport CRTs to end markets in the United States with the remaining plastics and metals shipped to local and export markets.

Recycle America also offers eCycling services for businesses in New Jersey and surrounding states. eCycling services is a customized approach to recycling discarded electronics, computers, communications equipment, and other related streams for local and state governments, OEMs, commercial businesses and many other customers.
The ARG subsidiary has programs underway in more than 20 states. Recycle America operates four electronics processing facilities in the United States: Phoenix, Houston, Minneapolis and Kernersville. Recycle America has operated the Long Branch nonferrous facility since 1980.
