Material handling equipment and systems provider W.M. Kelley Co. Inc., New Albany, Indiana, has held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new 20,000-square-foot office building in its headquarters city.
“We’re proud to announce the opening of our newly constructed office facility, designed to support our engineering, sales, administration and leadership teams all under one roof,” says the company.
On its website, W.M. Kelley indicates it fabricates and provides conveyors and other material handling equipment for manufacturing and processing and sorting facilities.
W.M. Kelley, which describes itself as a 100 percent employee-owned company, says the expansion “reflects our commitment to innovation, collaboration and long-term growth.”
The company also credits three companies or agencies it says helped make the project possible: Floyds Knobs, Indiana-based AML Construction; Louisville, Kentucky-based DKN Architects; and the One Southern Indiana Chamber & Economic Development agency, which is based in New Albany.
