Waste Management’s Asset Recovery Group was selected to manage the largest number of electronics recycling collection events as part of the first phase of a national program announced by Best Buy Co. this past April. WM ARG has provided recycling services for a one-day collection event for employees at Best Buy’s corporate offices in Eden Prairie, Minn., and three two-day collection events three Minnesota stores.
So far more than 126,000 pounds of material have been collected and recycled at these events by WM-ARG.
Future events with WM ARG are scheduled for in Seattle and Sacramento, Calif. next month.
