The Witte Co. Washington, New Jersey, has broken ground on a manufacturing center expansion. The company says the 5,000-square-feet expansion to its main facility will nearly double the assembly area, speed lead times and enable it to meet demand for its process equipment, which includes:
- vibrating fluid bed dryers;
- coolers;
- screeners; and
- pellet classifiers.
Discussions on the expansion began as early as 2014 when demand increased sharply for the company’s processing equipment, according to Witte.
“We're seeing a greater understanding among process engineers that our vibrating fluid bed dryers offer the most efficient method of heat transfer with the most protection for particle shape and integrity,” says Richard Witte, company president. “Investing in this expansion will allow us to produce more of our systems faster at a time when more and more people are realizing the advantages of our technology and expertise.”
