Bobby David, senior VP for Wise Metals Group, has announced that he will retire at the end of this year. David has been in the aluminum industry for 30 years. He plans on opening a firm that will offer consulting services to various parties in the nonferrous business community.
Bobby has been instrumental in helping Wise grow from a small scrap yard to now being the world's third largest manufacturers of can sheet, serving the food and beverage industries.
He has held various leadership positions with the Institute of Scrap Recycling (ISRI), Washington, D.C., including two terms as elected board member and chairman of both the Aluminum and Non-Ferrous committee.
After his retirement, Wise will continue to capitalize on Bobby's experience and industry knowledge, and he will be available to assist Wise on a consulting basis.
