On Broadway Inc., the company heading up the site’s redevelopment plan, and its partner companies are working to recycle about 97 percent of the buildings that are being torn down. Material will include tons of steel, insulation and concrete.
On Broadway Inc., acquired the former Larsen/Dean Foods/Argilink/Bird’s Eye canning company in June. The company plans on transforming the 22-acre property into a development that includes working, living and entertainment spaces, which calls for the demolition of some buildings and renovation of others.
