Winterborne Inc. is expanding its manufacturing capacity to produce more of its EnviroShell packaging. The company said it is adding a fourth production line to their facility in Chatsworth, Calif., which is scheduled to come on line by the third quarter of this year.
The EnviroShell features 100 percent recycled PET material.
"Winterborne has increased our production capacity by 33 percent in response to the forecast demand for our new EnviroShell packaging solution" said Howard Mallen, executive VP for Winterborne. "Being one of the only true eco-friendly packaging solutions on the market to feature 100 percent recycled plastic, we’ve seen a sharp demand for replacing traditional land-fill blister packaging with our cost neutral, consumer positive packaging solutions."
