Winkle Appoints Ptak to Lead, Magnetics Engineering Group

Winkle Industries Inc., Alliance, Ohio, has appointed Richard F. “Dick” Ptak, P.E., as manager of magnetics engineering. 

Ptak, a Cleveland native, will lead the engineering team responsible for the design, development and support of all Winkle magnetic lifting devices, including remanufacturing and certification services. 

He brings more than 30 years of magnetics experience to the position, including many years in departmental management and leadership. He has gained field experience in steel mills and recycling yards throughout North America and the Pacific Rim while working as a project engineer and consultant.
