Joseph T. Schatz, president and CEO of Winkle Industries Inc., Alliance, Ohio, and Mark Volansky, Winkle sales director, have announced that Joe Westendorf and Dick Landrigan of Harry Fisher & Associates, Inc. (HFA) and Jeff Sailer of Mattrip Technical Sales, Inc. (MTS) have become sales agents for Winkle below-the-hook lifting devices, mechanical and electrical crane products, ground-mounted material handling equipment and aftermarket services.
“Over the past few years Winkle has made major inroads into various markets with our engineering expertise,” Volansky says. “We’ve had a tremendous amount of interest from many independent sales agents, but it is imperative that we find the right match in terms of personality, work ethic and business philosophy. Prospective agents have to be able to properly represent the Winkle brand.”
“We are pleased to be adding highly regarded, reputable firms like HFA and MTS to our list of sales agencies,” Schatz says. “We know that high caliber individuals like Joe, Dick and Jeff will provide Winkle with new opportunities in new areas.”

According to Sailer, “For our two agencies, it’s a perfect match. We are already calling on many of the same customers such as steel mills and scrap yards and supplying them with Gleason, Hubbell and many other well-known product-lines associated with Winkle Industries. With the addition of Winkle, we are truly capable of offering our customers one-stop shopping.”
