James Westlake has been named as service manager for Sennebogen North America LLC, Charlotte, N.C.
Westlake has over 17 years in the heavy equipment service field, having served most recently as shop foreman at a locomotive crane manufacturing and refurbishing company.
“Jim’s experience in trouble-shooting electronics, hydraulics, magnet systems make him a key player,” says Richard Centner, executive vice president of Sennebogen North America. “His understanding of the role a material handler plays in yards or transfer stations means that he knows that our customers are counting on him to respond quickly. That is why I hired him,” adds Centner.
As service manager, Westlake will work with dealers and customers alike, providing them with training, setting up preventive maintenance programs and instructing on the proper and approved Sennebogen servicing techniques to ensure the material handling machines operate at peak performance levels.
“I look forward to this new challenge,” says Westlake. “And feel very fortunate to be working with Sennebogen. They have a world-class product and a first-rate organization.”
