Wendt Corp. announced that Metal Management’s Memphis, TN, facility has chosen the company to custom design and build a shredder to replace a 10-year-old Newell 98x104 shredder.
Wendt custom manufactured a 98x104 shredder that provided many of the new features found in the recently introduced heavy line, including a drop-in front wall, deflector top and self supported grates, fully supported to the base plate.
The new unit allowed Metal Management to reuse the existing disc rotor and many existing castings and liner plates.
