The Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance is sponsoring an informational webinar on the mandatory National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) reporting program. The webinar will be held on Oct. 24, 2011. The one-hour program will include presentations on the purpose of NMVTIS, the reporting requirements, methods of reporting, NMVTIS enforcement efforts and penalties for non-reporting.
The webinar will be hosted by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, NMVTIS’ system operator.
