WCA Waste Corp. has completed the acquisition of a small collection company near Springfield, Mo. All of the waste collected by the company will be internalized into a landfill owned by WCA.
Tom J. Fatjo, Jr., chairman of WCA, stated, "This is the second acquisition that WCA has completed since its initial public offering on June 22, 2004. We look forward to continuing our strategy and announcing additional acquisitions in the near future as they occur."
The company's operations consist of thirteen landfills, ten transfer stations and sixteen collection operations located throughout Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
