Wastequip, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., has announced its Toter division, which designs and produces carts, containers and material handling products for the waste and recycling industry, has launched Toter Custom Solutions (TCS). TCS will offer rotational molding services and custom compounding, according to Wastequip.
TCS can operate at several manufacturing locations and is set up to have the equipment capacity to meet the demands of its high-volume customers.
TCS’ production capabilities will include custom colors, multi-colored in-mold and post-mold graphics, mold-in inserts and hot stamping. TCS also will offer ancillary services, including injection and blow molding, trimming and finishing, final product assembly, steel fabrication, cut and sew operations, warehousing and logistics.
Other services offered by the TCS division include custom material compounding, producing plastic pellet and power blends to meet customers’ specifications. The company adds TCS can create custom blends that can incorporate virgin polyethylene and/or recycled material from the company’s in-house polyethylene recycling operation.
