The Environmental Research and Education Foundation reported that its 12th annual Absolute Refuse Equipment Auction and Raffle, held during the recently concluded Waste Expo show, was a success, raising $806,000 to benefit research and education for the solid waste industry.
Equipment auctioned off was donated by companies associated with the Waste Equipment Technology Association. Other items were donated by members of the National Solid Waste Management Association.
The Environmental Research and Education Foundation is committed to proactively shaping the future of municipal solid waste management through means including: furthering education, supporting scholars, promoting safety, collecting data, and advancing technology.
