WasteExpo Announces Change of Venue

Las Vegas is new location for conference.

WasteExpo 2006, which originally was slated to be in New Orleans, has changed its location to Las Vegas. The exhibition hall will run from April 5-7, with the conference program beginning April 4.

The change in dates and days was due to the availability of the Las Vegas Convention Center, as well as avoiding holidays. Conference organizers will be notifying exhibitors and attendees about alterations in the show's floor space, as well as any changes in the conference program as soon as they are available.

While acknowledging that there are a host of details that will need to be finalized, the conference organizers expect to keep exhibitors informed with all the new updated information.

While WasteExpo will be using the same exhibit halls that was used for the 2005 event, the conference organizers are looking for ways to either minimize or eliminate the need for exhibit space on two floors.

Further, WasteExpo conference organizers are looking to work with potential attendees at several other shows that are scheduled to be in the Las Vegas area around that time, including ISRI’s National Convention, and the Mid-American Truck Show. ISRI’s National Convention is slated to be in Las Vegas April 2-6 at Mandalay Bay.

WasteExpo 2007 will remain as originally scheduled -- also in Las Vegas -- with the exhibits scheduled for May 22-24, 2007.
