WasteCap of Lincoln and Latsch’s, an office supply store, are teaming up to present a workshop to address the purchase of recycled products and environmentally preferable purchasing as they apply to purchasing managers.
The workshop will be held March 19th at the Scottish Rite Temple, 332 Centennial Mall South, in Lincoln from 9 a.m. There is no cost to attend however pre-registration is requested.
The featured speakers are Carrie Hakenkamp, director of WasteCap of Lincoln and John Costin, vice president of sales at Latsch’s. The two will be discussing a joint effort between WasteCap and Latsch’s to increase recycled-content and environmentally preferable purchasing.
The program has assisted WasteCap members in increasing their purchase of recycled content products at Latsch’s. Hakenkamp and Costin will also outline the benefits of buying recycled products including EPA Recommendations and a list of Designated Products. Other topics include:
