The Sixth International Exhibition for Waste Management Recycling and Environmental Technologies was held in Moscow from May 26- 29, 2009. The exhibition, referred to as Waste Tech 2009, covered a variety of topics related to environmental equipment and services for waste management, recycling, prevention of air and water pollution and waste-to energy applications.
This year, 350 exhibitors attended Waste Tech 2009, representing companies and organizations from 24 countries. Several countries had their own pavilions at the show including Austria, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany and Israel. Total attendance at the conference was reported at 6,270.
