Waste Pro names division manager for Jacksonville, Florida

Waste Pro USA Inc., Longwood, Florida, has appointed Tim Williams as a division manager for Jacksonville, Florida.

Williams has more than 20 years of safety and waste industry experience. His career began in 1987 with the United States Army/California National Guard. In 2001, his waste industry career started with a national hauler where he served as district safety manager and later landfill district manager. Most recently, he served as a site manager for a national waste hauler in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Williams also is in the process of earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

In his new position as Jacksonville’s division manager, Williams will lead the region in northeast Florida, which services about 83,000 customers, Waste Pro reports in a news release.

“Safety is one of the most important aspects of the waste industry, and Tim has truly made a career of it, starting with serving our country,” says Waste Pro’s Northeast Florida Regional Vice President Brian Wintjen. “We’re excited to see how his tremendous career will lead to the continued growth and success we have seen in the Jacksonville market.”
