Longwood, Florida-based Waste Pro has acquired Celebration Demolition Services (CDS) of Davenport, Florida. Through this acquisition, which includes CDS’ contracts and containers, Waste Pro will be providing commercial roll-off services to businesses in Greater Polk County, with plans for expansion to surrounding municipalities.
Waste Pro says the acquired facility will deploy three trucks “equipped with high-tech traffic safety equipment to prevent accidents, personal injury and property damage.”
“We are very pleased to be entering the market and providing another option for the businesses and residents of Polk County to receive solid waste and recycling collection services,” says Central Florida Regional Vice President Tim Dolan.
Waste Pro describes itself as one of this country’s fastest growing privately owned waste collection, recycling, processing and disposal companies, operating in nine southeastern states. The firm serves more than 2 million residential and 40,000 commercial customers from more than 75 operating locations and has more than 230 municipal contracts and franchises.
