The facility, which has been called the largest single-stream facility in the country, processed 600 tons per day in its first week. After a month, the facility was processing 780 tons per day in a regular two-shift operation, according to Van Dyk Baler,
Van Dyk Baler supplied the plant with its Bollegraaf system, which includes a Lubo extra-wide OCC screen, two Lubo extra-wide double-deck ONP screens and two extra-wide Lobo paper commingled separators. The system also includes a glassbreaker screen, eddy current, TiTech optical sorting system for mixed plastic sorting and a Topaas glass clean-up system. The facility is baling material with a Bollegraaf HBC 140 baler.
