Odense, Denmark-based Wamatech A/S has agreed to become the IPS Balers dealership for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Germany and Greece. Wamatech assumed its IPS dealership responsibilities in November 2014.
The company, which also is the dealer for Harris Equipment, says it will offer IPS Balers’ entire baler line, including its horizontal, two-ram and vertical balers as well as conveyor belts.
Wamatech Managing Director Poul Steffensen says the firm’s appointment as the IPS Balers dealer “is an appreciation of the work done so far for Harris products.” Adds Steffensen, “It is an excellent complement to our existing product program for balers, where we already are and in the future will also be the [sole] dealer for the Harris product program.”
Steffensen says Avis Industrial Corp., the holding company that owns both Harris and IPS Balers, has “consequently streamlined the sales channels.”
The Wamatech managing director expresses optimism about the IPS two-ram baler line “due to their versatility and flexibility to bale almost all materials from hard and soft plastics to tires, aluminum, cables, foil, cardboard and paper up to maximum truck and container load weights.”
In addition to its new arrangement to carry the IPS line, Wamatech also represents the following equipment lines:
- Eriez Magnetics Europe Limited
- Granutech-Saturn Systems
- Hustler Conveyor Co.
- Ecotecnica Srl
- ABBA Pressentechnik
- JTT Conveying a/s
