Veolia ES Solid Waste Inc., the Milwaukee-based subsidiary of France’s Veolia Environnement, has acquired the business assets of Parker Sanitation, based in Panama City, Fla.
The agreement includes the acquisition of all assets including vehicles, containers and hauling equipment. “The acquisition of Parker Sanitation allows us to expand our operations and break into the Panama City market,” says Jim Long, president and CEO of Veolia ES Solid Waste. “We will look to improve service through implementation of our route optimization to efficiently serve the community.”
A Veolia news release says the acquisition “introduces Veolia ES Solid Waste Inc.’s hauling operations to Bay County, Fla., including Panama City and surrounding areas where it will serve both residential customers and commercial customers.”
Veolia ES Solid Waste Inc. provides services to commercial, industrial and residential customers in 12 states, the Bahamas, and Canada, operating 72 collection or transfer facilities and 29 landfill facilities in North America.
